She is the half-sister of Shelby Blackstock, the son of Narvel and country singer Reba McEntire. Shawna is married to Jason Slade Meyers, with whom she shares one son. She is a hairstylist and works at Elite Studios Salon and Suites located in Gallatin, Tennessee.

Narvel Blackstock was born on August 31, 1956, in Tarrant County, Texas, USA. He is an American television producer, music manager and former steel guitar player, best known for his marriage to Reba McEntire, having initially played in her band and later became her manager. During the 1990s, Blackstock executive produced television movies starring McEntire, such as “Is There Life Out There?”, “Forever Love”, and “Secret of Giving”. He was the director of the 2006 video “Reba: Video Gold II”. Blackstock also produced television specials starring Blake Shelton, such as “Blake Shelton Live: It’s All About Tonight” (2010) and “Blake Shelton’s Not So Family Christmas” (2012).
Blackstock is the owner and operator of Starstruck Entertainment, an entertainment company he founded in 1988. Shelby Steven McEntire Blackstock, born on February 23, 1990, is an American race car driver and son of country music singer Reba McEntire and her ex-husband Narvel Blackstock. After attending a Bob Bondurant race school, Blackstock decided to pursue a racing career full-time, beginning with the Skip Barber competition in 2010 and 2011. He then moved up to the U.S. F2000 National Championship with Andretti Autosport in 2012 before progressing to the Pro Mazda Championship in 2013. He then signed with Andretti Autosport in the Indy Lights series in 2015 and stayed in the series until 2018. In 2019, Blackstock moved to tour car racing participating in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge where he finished fourth in points in the TCR class in a Honda Civic. In 2020, he is competing in the GT World Challenge America in an Acura NSX and won the series’ Silver Cup for professional drivers by default as they were the only class entry to compete in every race.
