Kristian Alfonso is an American actress best known for her contract role as Hope Williams Brady on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. Born in Brockton, Massachusetts on September 5, 1963, Alfonso is of Italian-American heritage, with her grandparents hailing from Sicily and Calabria. Before her acting career, Alfonso was a gold medal champion figure skater at the Junior Olympic Figure Skating Championships. After a tobogganing accident ended her figure skating career, she turned to modeling and appeared on over 30 magazine covers by the time she was 15. Her television debut came in 1981 opposite Rock Hudson in the TV movie The Starmaker.
In April 1983, Kristian Alfonso landed the contract role of Hope Williams Brady on Days of Our Lives and quickly became involved in a popular pairing with the character of Bo Brady (played by Peter Reckell).
