David Oliver Bass was born in Kannapolis on 4th March 1938. He was the son of the late Margie Lee Watts Reynolds and Wilburn Edward Bass. On June 8th 1946, he married Vassiliki Papadimitrious who was born to Papademetrio Eleftherio in Katouna, Greece, on 8th August 1939. She died on 9th March 2012 at the age of 79 years in California where from relocated when she moved from Greece. Nothing much is known about his wife except that she was a model back in Greece and had previously participated in a beauty contest miss Greece in the 1960s. David Lee is the father of Tommy Lee and Athena Lee. He was a US Amy veteran and worked as a mechanic. David died due to a non-communicable disease on June 6th 1982 when he was 44 years old.
