Bruce Hasselberg is the ex-husband of American actress Loni Anderson. The two met at the Miss Minnesota pageant event; Loni participated while Bruce was there to cheer his sister. Bruce and Loni liked each other, and soon after, they started dating. Bruce wanted to marry Loni Anderson, but her parents objected as they thought she was still young.

Bruce Hasselberg graduated from Bloomington High School in 1956, after which he joined the University of Minnesota, graduating with a degree in Retail Operations and Retailing. After college, Bruce ventured into real estate and invested in several businesses. He was vice president of the premier realty company and Space Center.

The Acting Career of Bruce’s Ex-Wife

Loni Anderson started as a model before switching to acting; she made her acting debut in 1966 when she appeared in the movie Nevada Smith. Despite making her debut, things did not work out for her until the mid-1970s when she landed a role in two episodes of S.W.A.T. She then appeared in more television shows that year including The Invisible Man, Phyllis and Police Woman.

In 1978, Bruce’s ex-wife landed the role of Jennifer Marlowe in the television series W.K.R.P. in Cincinnati. For her performance on the show, Loni received three nominations. Bruce’s ex-wife has since had a great career appearing in many television shows and films. She is still active in the acting industry, though her roles have reduced, probably due to her age.
